We all know that by adding the latest stereo and lightweight alloys will not only make out cars look brilliant, it will add quite a glare to the insurance we have to pay for too. However, if you are wanting to keep your car up to date and full of luxury there are some certain additions you can purchase which will do a good job at leveling out the insurance bills too.
There have been satellite tracking systems available for cars for a few years now, but they where always expensive to purchase. Now with there being a large market for techno gadgets in general there have been more companies developing them and this has brought the price down. You can easily have a tracker fitted and set up for around one hundred pounds, which is an obvious investment if your car is worth a lot either sentimentally or financially.
What then happens if somebody steals your motor is you simply alert the police, they tell their systems to track your cars individual code number and they simply hone in and take the car back. This obviously works best if you have a car most likely to be stolen to sell on rather than joyride in.
However the latest addition to the market is a device that not only allows the car to be tracked by the police but you too. If you activate the system while in work, at the gym, or a night out, your PDA or mobile phone will ring if anything unusual happens to the car. If the car moves at all the gadget will ring you to alert you, and send you a message as it is happening. This gives you time to alert the necessary people before the car has even gotten five minutes away.
If your car is "blinged up" and worth a lot to you, it may be worth shelling out on these items as they not only give you an added chance of getting your beloved motor back, but they also lower your premiums by a considerable chunk.
Check out as many insurance companies as you can for your car insurance quote. You can find cheap car insurance if you look hard enough! |
